Max-Stream AC1750 MU-MIMO Gigabit Router

Product page  • Support page

Despite Linksys claims of only three-stream speeds, version 2.0 appears to be wired

up for four tx/rx chains with three external antennas and one internal antenna.

It may actually support four spatial streams and higher-than-advertised speeds.

RF Report NII at the FCC shows 4 transmit and 4 receive chains.

FCC documents also cover the AC1750 Linksys EA7400 v2 which supposedly

disables 256-QAM in 802.11ac to differentiate it for marketing purposes
although 256-QAM is likely disabled for 802.11n, not 802.11ac.

RF Report NII at the FCC shows 4 transmit and 4 receive chains.

FCC documents claim that the EA7400 v2 lacks "256QAM in 802.11ac" to differentiate

it for marketing purposes but Linksys claims speeds of 1300/450Mbps which would
suggest that 256-QAM is disabled for the 802.11n radio instead.
