A photo of the board shows the EA101 is using a Kawasaki LSI (KLSI) KL5KUSB101BCL - presumed to be a KL5KUSB101B - with a square 100-pin QFP package.

There may be multiple revisions of this adapter. Some are labeled as manufactured in China.. others are labeled as originating from Taiwan.
