Nighthawk X6 - AC3000 Tri-Band Router
This is yet another artificially limited Costco exclusive model.
- In this case, the R7900 is a R8000 with 256QAM disabled
- on the three stream 2.4GHz radio limiting its maximum
- theoretical speed to 450Mbps instead of 600Mbps.
Also, the USB 2.0 port was removed for the R7900.
While not really represented well in the infobox, this is a tri-radio device
- - all radios (2x 5GHz [an+ac], 1x 2.4GHz [bgn]) used are BCM43602
- (FullMAC) is supported in the mainline Linux kernel by brcmfmac
