This router is flashable to DD-WRT or OpenWrt (trunk, the ESR-9753 build seems to work fine), however, this will require serial access. There is no firmware currently available to allow flashing via the webGUI (see this forum thread for a utility to work with the firmware format).
The default SSID is RosewillXXXXXX where XXXXXX is the last three octets of the wireless interface MAC address (assumed capitalized hex letters).
