Chipsets history
- The JZ47xx series SoC's, provide great advantages in terms of power consumption, multimedia capabilities and cost.
- JZ47xx has been extensively used in markets including biometrics, e-education, portable media player, e-reader
- and mobile internet devices since its production began in 2006.
- The Mxxx series SoC's are targeted at the emerging wearables and smart devices market. They are designed to meet
- the critical requirements of ultra-low power consumption, small form-factor with no compromise on performance.
- With these SoC's, Ingenic has delivered solutions including Smart Watch and Smart Glass platforms to its customers,
- helping them deliver their products to market in a shorter amount of time.
Ingenic chipsets

- JZ4730 is a multimedia application processor targeting for mobile and general embedded devices.

- Many MP4 players made in China use JZ4730.
- JZ4740 is a multimedia application processor targeting for mobile devices like smart-phones, PMP and GPS.

- The JZ4740 has upstream kernel support.
- JZ4755 is a multimedia SOC with high performance and price ratio, targeting for low end PMP like portable product.
- JZ4755 is powered by Ingenic innovative XBurst CPU core up to 360MHz, supporting multi-format decoding at 720P
- resolution, and equipped with a rich set of on-chip peripherals.
- This SoC is used in the RZX-50.
- JZ4770. The JZ4770 SoC has a 1GHz single XBurst core, with 32K L1 and 256K L2. The JZ4770 is used in a number
- of Android MIPS based platforms, such as the Ainol Novo 7 tablets, and the GCW Zero open source gaming platform.
- JZ4780. The JZ4780 is a MIPS32r2 based SoC that has dual 1.2GHz XBurst cores. It has 64KB L1 per core,
- and a shared 512KB L2. The SoC also contains hardware video decoders, a cryto engine and an SGX540 GPU.
- This SoC is targeted primarily at mobile devices like Philips T7+ PI3800.
- Also MIPS Creator CI20 is based in the JZ4780.
