A user on the ASUS ROG forum says that this device has a quad core processor here so the specifications page which says dual-core may be wrong. This might suggest that the CPU is a Broadcom BCM4908 instead of the currently listed BCM4906. --Dave (talk) 18:09, 16 May 2018 (EDT)
- A Press Release today also says that the RT-AX88U has a quad-core processor. The BCM4908 seems likely. --Dave (talk) 15:15, 4 June 2018 (EDT)
