Is mini PCI considered expansion (in wireless embedded systems)?

In some pages, a consumer router with mini PCI wireless card, that mini-PCI is listed as a expansion interface. While other pages do not consider it to be expansion. Is it subjective, up to page creator? Which is more correct, to consider it expansion or not? Certainly, in a not-embedded system, it should be considered expansion.

I would consider it to be applicable to any modular (.. though, it could be non-modular in other instances, such as easily accessible USB headers / I²C / whatever) interface usable + re-usable or repurposable on the device.
If it has a mPCI socket with a removable module (even if soldered on), it should probably be noted. If it was not mentioned and I was the primary page author, I probably screwed up (.. or maybe it uses a proprietary interface like TI's VLYNQ instead?).

Okay, thank you. I will try to remember that. And also to sign my comments.--Numeric (talk) 00:03, 14 January 2014 (EST)
