11Mbps Wireless Access Point
- On iXBT Labs product roundup - the device shares the same manuf as early Buffalo devices.
- The layout looks near identical to the Buffalo WLAR-L11-L and is probably the Buffalo WLA-L11.
- It appears Buffalo / Melco manufactured the device as the device. It also carries a Buffalo OUI
- (00:40:26) in the web configuration interface screenshots. The WLAN OUI is 00:60:1D (Lucent).
- The device obviously seems to have been resold by BroMax (now merged into CyberTAN),
- however, as the device carries (in the web UI) the FreePort brand and the model WS200-LF.
The default SSID may be 'APXXXXXX', where 'XXXXXX' is some combination of hex digits
- (upper case letters).
