This was the previous entry in the USB ID Repository. The current entry specifies RT2070 (but may have been based upon this entry). Spec wise, RT2070 is the likely chip used (b/g, RT2870 derivative).. but - without the FCC ID (if there is any, the device may have been sold only in non-US locations), opening the device, or debug dump from rt2800usb - the chipset remains a best guess.
